1962 Wachovia Commercial Loan Program for the City of Charlotte

How did you get started in real estate?
He was offered a job by Binswanger in 1975 to start their office for the Southeast Market.

Brief summary of career:
1962-1975 – Commercial Loan Officer for Wachovia;
1975-1997 – Head of Southeast Market for Binswanger;
1997 - Present NAI Southern

What are you doing today?
Executive Vice President for NAI Southern

What accomplishment are you most proud of?
The IBM deals in the 1970’s and 80’s. Integral to the development of the University submarket.

What is your favorite piece of real estate?
Bank of America Plaza

What's your favorite piece of architecture in Charlotte?
The Uptown statues at the corners of Trade and Tryon.

What's your favorite Charlotte restaurant, now or then?
Now - Bricktops, Then- Epicurean

What item would you leave behind to be remembered as Past President? (If they were adding to a time capsule.)
A picture of Theresa Salmen. The CRCBR would not be the strong organization it is today without her leadership.

What is something the members of CRCBR may not know about you?
That I am proud of the establishing a Arbitration board while President of CRCBR.
