Wells Fargo Home Mortgage broke ground for its new office building in the
Lakemont
Business
Park
adjacent to its other Fort Mill facility. The new three-story office
building will add approximately 170,000 square feet to the Wells Fargo Home
Mortgage campus. Completion is scheduled for next spring. Crescent
Resources, the project developer, will own the new building. Wells Fargo
Home Mortgage has signed a long-term lease agreement. Gary Chesson and Chris
Keber of Trinity Partners’ office tenant representation group represented
Wells Fargo in this transaction, and Sherrie Sommerfeld of Trinity’s project
management group will manage the construction project for Wells Fargo. The
new building will be located near the Wells Fargo Home Mortgage building at
3476 Stateview Blvd. The second building will include space for 1,000
employees. Wells Fargo Home Mortgage will occupy 100 percent of the
building. In addition to the groundbreaking ceremony, Wells Fargo Home
Mortgage dedicated the two-story, 169,000 square foot facility it built last
summer.
