Transwestern Awarded Marketing
of Rock Hill Business Park
Transwestern Commercial Services, (TCS),
a privately held, full-service commercial real estate company, announced
today that its
Charlotte, NC office has been chosen by the Rock Hill
Economic Development Corporation (RHEDC) to market TechPark Business Park.
There are approximately 68 acres remaining in the high-quality mixed-use
park located at the intersections of Dave Lyle Boulevard and Anderson Road
(Highway 21 By-Pass) in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Major park tenants
include Hartman Conco, Weyerhaeuser Paper Company and C. C. Dickson.
"With TechPark's image, eight-lane interstate access to Charlotte and the South Carolina location, this is a prime assignment," said Clay Andrews, Transwestern's Charlotte city leader. Andrews will be working this assignment with fellow brokers Andrew Webb and Leslie Dickson.
"Clay's strong knowledge of Rock Hill and TechPark, along with Transwestern's broad commercial real estate expertise makes them the perfect team for this assignment", said RHEDC executive director Stephen Turner. "We know there are companies in the Charlotte market who would find TechPark's quality setting perfect for their image and budget, and we are confident Transwestern can help us find them."
TechPark is a joint venture between the RHEDC and the City of Rock Hill and is home to over 30 other businesses. The RHEDC is a private, non-profit corporation that develops and markets business parks in Rock Hill. Since opening its first park in 1986, RHEDC has been responsible for bringing 65 businesses or industries to the city, representing more than 2,500 jobs.
