“The Carolinas region and our Charlotte office are among the fastest growing areas for Trammell Crow Company,” said Curt Grantham, senior managing director of Trammel Crow Company. “We have added staff to keep up with the work and take advantage of the opportunities. Marty McFarland is a key piece for our continued growth in this region.”

Prior to his Charlotte appointment, McFarland was Managing Director of the Trammell Crow Company’s Phoenix office. In his new role, McFarland will be in charge of development, brokerage, marketing, and property management in North and South Carolina.

“There is a lot of development activity throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, and a lot of opportunity for Trammell Crow Company,” McFarland said. “We have a first-rate team in place, a team that we are adding to every week.”

McFarland has degrees in architecture, business and law. He joined Trammell Crow Company in 1998, working in new business development and corporate strategic accounts in Atlanta. From there he moved west to be city leader and development principal in the Reno-Las Vegas area and then managing director and president of the Phoenix Global Services operation.

“Marty brings skills in business development as well as property management and property development,” said Grantham. “He is just the person we need at this time of rapid growth for our company.”

Chip Olsen, formerly with Cogentrix Energy, has joined Trammell Crow Company as senior vice president to expand TCC’s business in real estate services to the utility and power industries. Chip has 18 years experience in the Utility industry, including engineering and construction management and real-estate development, with the last 10 years focused on real estate transaction work.

Trammell Crow Company has also recently appointed 36 employees to its call center in Uptown Charlotte. Additionally, TCC has a 32-person, full-service accounting group and 24-person project management group based in Charlotte.
