Coldwell Banker Commercial MECA – Kevin Smith
Coldwell Banker Commercial MECA has hired Kevin Smith as senior brokerage associate. Smith, a Michigan native who has lived in Gaston County for 14 years, comes to commercial real estate with a background in urban development, investment banking and law. He earned a B.A. in Urban Development from Michigan State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law. He is a member of the Clarence Darrow Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He most recently operated his own consulting firm, K.R. Smith & Co. Read more here.

Insite Properties, LLC – Jay Blanton, Jonathan Douglas, and Bart Murr
Insite Properties has purchased Albemarle Point Center in Charleston, SC. The property consists of a Class A, 74,000 square foot professional office building located at 176 Croghan Spur Road and an adjacent 11,000 square foot flex building located at 238 Albemarle Road. Albemarle Point Center conveniently sits between US-17 and the James Island Expressway, just across the Ashley River from Downtown Charleston. Insite Properties acquired the property with Charlotte- based Eastern Federal Corporation and will be implementing a detailed Capital Improvement plan to renovate and update the building exterior and internal commons areas.
MPV Properties – Mike Bilodeau and Keely Hines
MPV) announces that Carolina Fresh, LLC, a franchisee of Tide Dry Cleaners, has purchased an outparcel for its state of the art dry cleaning facility at RedStone which is currently under construction in Indian Land, SC. RedStone is a 310,000 SF retail development with the first phase opening 1st Quarter 2018. Mike Bilodeau is a developer of the center and Keely Hines is the leasing broker for the project.
Selwyn Property Group, Inc. and The Nichols Company – Roger Cobb, Liz Wohlrab and Rusty Gibbs
Roger Cobb and Liz Wohlrab represented Coleman Lew & Associates in the sale of 326 W. 10th Street. Lindley Law, represented by Rusty Gibbs with The Nichols Company, paid $975,000 for the Fourth Ward property. The 4,296 square foot, two story house, was moved from Church Street in the mid 1980’s and converted to an office building.
