National Association of REALTORS

The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS strives to be the collective force influencing and shaping the real estate industry. It seeks to be the leading advocate of the right to own, use, and transfer real property; the acknowledged leader in developing standards for efficient, effective, and ethical real estate business practices; and valued by highly skilled real estate professionals and viewed by them as crucial to their success. Working on behalf of American property owners, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS provides a facility for professional development, research and exchange of information among its members and to the public and government for the purpose of preserving the free enterprise system and the right to own, use, and transfer real property.

NC Association of REALTORS

The North Carolina Association of REALTORS® is a non-profit trade association founded in 1921 and incorporated on Sept. 14, 1935. From an initial membership of 135, NCAR today has a membership of more than 38,000 real estate professionals representing 66 local associations statewide. The NC Association of REALTORS® is the largest and oldest state association in North Carolina.

Charlotte Regional REALTOR Association (CRRA)

The Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association is a trade association that leads, educates and equips members to be productive. The association is the parent entity for Carolina Multiple Listing Services, Inc. (CMLS), the Mingle School of Real Estate and the association’s Housing Opportunity Foundation.

South Carolina REALTORS (SCR)

Discovering Commercial Real Estate

Discovering Commercial Real Estate provides basic commercial real estate terminology, basic resources needed for a commercial real estate transaction, basic steps involved in a transaction and resources available through NAR, the REALTORS® Commercial Alliance and NAR's five Commercial Institute Affiliates that will assist the student in deepening his/her commercial knowledge.

Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM)

The CCIM movement began more than 40 years ago with commercial real estate practitioners who wanted to elevate their business practices through focused education and networking opportunities. Still today, education and networking remain the cornerstones of the CCIM designation and the reason for its success. The CCIM Institute confers the CCIM designation and is an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

The Counselors of Real Estate (CRE)

The Counselors of Real Estate is the membership organization established exclusively for real estate advisors who provide intelligent, unbiased, and trusted advice for a client or employer.
