Almost 300 people responded to our request to send emails to the City Council asking them to oppose transfer taxes and impact fees. The Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners will consider the transfer tax and impact fee proposal on Tuesday, December 19th. |

| Infrastructure General Development Policies (GDP) Meeting Rescheduled |

The “Infrastructure Policies for Land Use and Development” meeting has been rescheduled for next Thursday, February 15, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 600 E. Fourth Street, Charlotte, NC 28202, in Room CH-14 (please enter by way of basement doors off Davidson Street). This phase of the GDP's will be about infrastructure and land use (think Adequate Public Facilities Ordinances). |

| Building Development Process Survey |

In reaction to concerns expressed by members over the building development process in Charlotte-Mecklenburg, NAIOP Charlotte and the Charlotte Chamber have agreed to inventory the issues and work with public officials to address them in a forum. We have compiled a survey as the vehicle for that inventory. All CRCBR members are encouraged to participate in this anonymous survey. The survey will take approximately 5 minutes and must be completed by Wednesday, March 14. YOUR INPUT IS CRITICAL! |
