Formerly known at the GIS Real Estate System, POLARIS is the Mecklenburg County Property Ownership Land Records Information System. This website is designed to help you quickly and easily locate GIS maps and associated real estate information. This web page is a public resource for general information. These maps are prepared for the real property inventory within this Mecklenburg County. They are compiled from recorded deeds, survey plats, and other public records and data.
