A Singapore-based manufacturing plant operator has opened an office in southwest Charlotte.

Interplex, which provides engineering and manufacturing services to plants worldwide, is leasing 1,906 square feet at the Charleston Row building in Ayrsley. The local office is intended to support Interplex’s cold-forging business, including tool design, engineering, product development, sales and operations.

Also at Ayrsley, eDiscovery firm Consilio has renewed its full-floor lease at the One Kings Parade building. Consilio, which provides services like document review and legal consulting to corporations, is leasing 19,578 square feet on the third floor of One Kings Parade.

On the office side, Ayrsley is 95% occupied. Jeld-Wen (NYSE:JELD) is putting its headquarters at a 120,000-square-foot building under construction now at the mixed-use development. A second office building, Two Silver Crescent, is being actively marketed now by New Forum Inc.

William Hodges at New Forum represented the landlord on the lease transactions. Spencer Hawkins, formerly with Trinity Partners and now with CBRE, represented Interplex. Keith Bell at Cushman & Wakefield represented Consilio.
