Our 1,000 members include commercial real estate professionals, industry affiliates, and industry partners, who are service and product suppliers to the industry, spanning an 18-county region in North and South Carolina. Members belong because of their commitment to high professional standards in the commercial real estate community and for the many benefits bestowed upon CRCBR members.
Categories of Membership
Individuals who are actively engaged in the real estate profession. Each firm must name one principal or managing member as its Designated REALTOR® Member, with one other individual in the firm being classified as REALTOR® Member. Because of the Professional Standards and Code of Ethics requirements of membership, each licensee at a firm must be a member or will be designated as a non-member, paying state and national dues.
Business entities involved in the commercial real estate industry who do not hold real estate licenses, however, may provide products or services of interest to industry professionals. Each member firm may designate one member representative to CRCBR. Option to add additional representatives.
Public Service members are individuals who are interested in the real estate profession as employees of or affiliated with educational, public utility, governmental or other similar organizations but are not engaged in the real estate profession on their own account or in association with an established real estate business.
RE-Source is a group of real estate office managers or marketing professionals that meet four to five times a year. Discussion items include technology, social media, upcoming rule changes, Circle of Excellence, and how to more effectively manage your real estate practice.
Commercial Broker of the Carolinas
CBC members are licensed commercial real estate brokers. To be a CBC member, your firm's managing broker must also be a CBC member. These members have access to continuing education opportunities, CRCBR programs, and events.
These individuals hold or are qualified candidates for a professional designation awarded by a qualified Institute, Society or Council affiliated with NAR, including IREM, CCIM, and SIOR. Members receive similar benefits as the REALTOR® members, with several restrictions. Contact your affiliated organization for more information.
