Leadership

Every member is encouraged to become actively involved to garner the full benefits of the Association.  Below are the active committees:

• Education–provides a wide variety of continuing and general education courses specifically focused to the commercial practitioner.
  Chair: Rusty Gibbs, The Nichols Company
• Grievance– serves as a “grand jury” for complaints on ethics violations and arbitration on contractual issues to determine if a complaint warrants referral to the Professional Standards Committee.
• Leadership Development– builds the future leaders of commercial real estate by coordinating the Leadership Class, supports the Young Professionals Network, and cultivates relationships with local universities through scholarship and grant opportunities.

• Legislative– works to increase member awareness about legislative and regulatory actions that impact the commercial real estate industry as well as raising funds for the RPAC and CRE-PAC.
  Chair: David Dorsch, David Dorsch CRE, LLC
• Membership– focuses on attracting and retaining members, facilitating participation, and formulating marketing and social media efforts.
• Professional Standards– oversees arbitrations and disputes relating to the ethical conduct of REALTORS®.
  Chair: Martin McLaughlin, Park Commercial Real Estate
• Programs– plans business networking activities for key industry connections between members.
  Chair: Claire Shealy, Beacon Partners
• Sponsorship– responsible for annual sponsors who support the commercial industry.
