CRCBR Policies

CRCBR is following well-considered safety protocols for any in-person events. Guidance is provided for volunteers and staff planning events as well as for event participants.

Guidance for Volunteers and Staff Planning Events

  • Follow the latest state and local guidelines, at a minimum.
  • Limit events to small groups. CRCBR is currently planning to limit groups to 25 people or less (but may serve two or more groups back-to-back). Advance registration may be required in order to enforce attendance maximums.
  • Prioritize outdoor events when possible. Indoor events should be limited to large, airy spaces. Tours where people are moving frequently are preferred over stationary events where people remain in one place for more than a few minutes.
  • Confirm that the venue can accommodate social distancing requirements and what specific COVID-19 related practices have been put in place.

Guidance for Event Participants

  • Remember to bring a mask/face covering to wear while indoors. Mask coverings should be used during the entire event, except for when actively drinking or eating.
  • Plan to arrive at events in time to stay within your pre-designated group.
  • Maintain 6 feet distance with person-to-person contact and respect and follow all social distancing signage in the building.
  • Name-tags will be disposable and will not include display ribbons at this time.
  • If you are having symptoms of illness or have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, please do not attend.
  • Your registration reflects acceptance of the waiver and release terms included during the online registration process.

CRCBR leadership is hopeful that by following these guidelines, we can begin in some modest way to reconnect with one another in-person as well as online.

Full registration fees will be refunded for cancellations made more than three business days prior to a class or program date. Cancellations made three or less business days prior to a class or program will be refunded, less a $20 cancellation fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made after 12:00 pm the day before a class or program. CRCBR reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class or program as needed. Registrants will be notified and will have the option to transfer or receive a full refund.

Class Transfers

Registrants may transfer to another class up to three business days prior to a class date with no penalty. Transfer requests made three or less days prior to a class will incur a $10 transfer fee. Class transfers must be made via phone and fees must be paid at the time of transfer.

Registration fees will be forfeited if you are registered for a class or program and you do not attend.

Inclement Weather/Local, State, or National Emergencies

In a case of inclement weather, national or local emergencies, CRCBR follows the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) system closings schedule. CRCBR will do our best to reschedule any course or event. Registrants will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
